    National Welcome to Kindergarten™ Awards for Partnership Excellence

    Who can be nominated for The Learning Partnership’s Welcome to Kindergarten™ Award for Partnership Excellence?

    Nominations from all involved with supporting children and families through the Welcome to Kindergarten™ program (WTK) may include:

    What is the deadline for nominations?  

    Nominations close on Monday, September 30, 2013. Completed nomination forms are accepted from May 2013 to September 30, 2013. 

    Who can nominate?

    School administrators, teachers, support staff, community agencies, parents, individuals, parent councils, supervisory officer/superintendent.

    How do I submit a nomination?

    Complete the nomination form, obtain signatures of nominator and nominee(s) and add a nomination letter and two supporting letters.

    How many winners will be selected?

    Up to seven awards will be presented annually.

    When will the Award winners be announced?

    Award winners and all nominees will be informed by late November 2013.

    What does a nominee need to do?

    The nominee is required to sign and date the “Nominee’s Consent” section in the Nomination form. See forms:

    When and where will the Awards be presented?

    The Awards will be presented in early in 2014 in conjunction with local community events whenever possible.

    What is the Award?

    The winners will each receive $1,000.00 and a distinguished award plaque from The Learning Partnership.

    How are the winners selected?

    A representative group of up to 7 outstanding individuals with early childhood and partnership knowledge from across the country will determine the winners based on the Awards’ criteria.
